I am swaying back and forth between emotions.
I've been trying to get all my listings updated in my Ruby Mountain Beads shop on Etsy.
It has been sorely neglected for most of this year.  Well, since last October really.
So I've been going through expired and inactive listings.  And then I remembered the reason why they were expired and inactive.  And that is because my pictures suck.  I hate them all.
Except for the newer ones I've done on the gray background and the black rock.
I guess I was thinking that I wanted to retake all those pics.
But in order to do that, I'd have to make new sample ear wires.
And I guess I forgot that I was supposed to be doing that.
Oooops!!

But, I renewed and relisted most all my ear wire styles anyway.  I'm going to have to work on the new samples and start taking new pics a little at a time.
So every time I look at my shop and see those pics, I go "yuck!"
but the other side of the emotional sway is an itch to get it all done.

Finally!
Sometimes it seems I wait forever for the driving force to come along and get me moving.  I've been moving at a snail's pace, and there is too much to be done to stay on that trail.
The lazy days of summer have been just that.  Lazy.
I best get a move on....

  1. Sometimes I get overwhelmed by the amount of things I feel like I should get accomplished in one day. But then I take a step back and pick two things to get off the list that day. It helps me stay focus and also gives me that feeling that I am in fact accomplishing things. Otherwise I just run around like a crazy person! Just pick a day for redoing your photos and let that be the only thing you do that day :o) You can do it!

  2. Thanks Tess. I can use all the organizational tips I can get, it just doesn't come naturally to me. Thanks for the encouragement! :-)
