When I was a little girl I'd sometimes tag along with Grandpa on his treks through the hills. I don't know how often he went, but I do know he always found little treasures.
The hills of Elko county hold the relics left behind by the Native Americans who once occupied the land. It was always a good day when an arrowhead was found.
They are such wonderful reminders of the past; every time Jim walked our property, he looked for arrowheads....never found any but he knew they were there somewhere.
