I got a chance to finish my acid etching experiments. I had a fourth pair that I added some turquoise cabs to. But, the silver solder got into some of my etching lines and they look like a hot mess up close. Not very noticeable in person, so I got myself a new pair of earrings! :)
I've worked with copper a bit in the past, and I am enjoying working with it more. It oxidizes so beautifully, and I love the rich warm glow that copper gives...

ReplyDeleteI am scared to work with Copper..I will start incorporating it one day, possibly only into earrings like you are...or on rings maybe. I hate where this silver business is headed. I don't want to give it up. Great work on the etching by the way! Another thing I have to try :)
